Spotted a pace split or calorie number that does not match your own math? Send a message and Chris reads it directly.
Want to know who reads this form? See the authors page.
The most useful messages we get point to one specific number. If a row in the marathon pace chart, a benchmark in good running pace by age, or a calorie estimate from a calculator does not match your own calculation, include the exact inputs (distance, time, weight, or age) and the figure you expected instead. With those details we can usually re-run the formula the same day, and either fix the page or explain the gap, which is most often a rounding difference or a different MET assumption for the pace you ran.
If you want to know which published formula or source backs a specific calculator, check the editorial standards page first; it lists them by tool. If your question is not answered there, ask here and we will point you to the exact document.
Response time is typically one to two business days. We cannot review your personal medical history or tell you whether a training plan is safe for you specifically.
